Composed at 1:30 am

Here is the product of my sleep deprivation. When faced with the seemingly insurmountable task of composing yet another poem this week, my beloved roomie Aubrea and I tackled the task with impressive determination, given the time of the day. If any of you are at all curious what it's like to live in a former study lounge with three of the most awesome girls in the country here it is:

Below upper Dixon
Between East and West
Four girls live together
Without any rest

The room with six windows
Two doors and five walls,
 So fills up with laughter
It bursts through the halls.

The room’s like no other
Adventures abound
Their beds tend to break
So they sleep on the ground.

There’s always fruit salad
Nail polish and slugs,
But mostly they kill those
‘Cause they don’t like bugs.

They often have strangers
Who want to explore
Their room filled with people
And pictures galore.

Others are jealous
‘cause that room’s first rate
But everyone’s welcome –
No matter how late.

You may think this poem
Is out of the norm,
But you’d understand
If you lived in my dorm.

hope this made you smile
